4x4
The first official champions club workout of 2023 was named 4x4. For those track athletes among us it is not the 4x4 relay although it may feel that way after you are done with it.
This workout encompassed teams of 4 working through the following:
4 rounds of:
100 Thrusters (95/65)
100 KB Swings (55/35)
100 K2E (Knees to Elbows)
Two teammates could work at a time so long as they were doing different exercises. Example, teammate A is doing thrusters and teammate B is doing swings, while teammates C & D are resting.
This workout is meant to help maximize the strengths each teammate can bring to the table and help complete those reps as fast as possible. A total of 20 athletes come to compete in this workout which gave us 5 full teams to complete this workout. Coach Luke and I had to solo it as a team of 2 which meant we cut reps in half to 50 of each exercise but still had 4 rounds to complete.
